Screenshots
Perfect Keylogger can save screenshots automatically each time the specified time interval is elapsed. You can also configure keylogger to delete screenshots automatically, if they are older than X days - that will help you to save the disc space.
Alerts
You can enter a list of "alert keywords", and when the user will enter one of these keywords, keylogger can make a screenshot or send an instant email notification. You can enter a word, a phrase, or a part of the word. For your convenience, keylogger will make an additional screenshot after 10 seconds to capture more detailed information. Alerts will work even if the regular emailing and screenshot recording is turned off, so you can use them separately.
Email options
The email options are standard for any email software. Usually your email service provides you with all required settings. If not, you can visit the FAQ section of your email provider's site, or request the settings from their tech. support. Some popular email services offer web access only, but not POP3/SMTP access. You need some email service with POP3/SMTP functionality. For example, you can use
Necesitas ser usuario para ver los enlaces
Crear Usuario Hacer Sesionwww.aol.com
and many other free email services.
You can see the sample email settings on the screenshot above. Feel free to contact our support at support @blazingtools.com to get help with email settings.
After you'll have all email settings entered, press "Test" button to send a test email message.
Click "Hide and go" button to save and apply all settings entered and to put keylogger into invisible mode. Use Ctrl+Alt+J keys to bring it back at any time.
The email message with activity recorded will be sent to your email address every XXX minutes (user defined). If you have Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, you may need to configure your firewall to allow keylogger to connect to the Internet.
We recommend to use any email reader software to download the emailed logs onto your computer. You can use the built-in "Mail" application in Mac OS X (Leopard version is excellent with its "Quick View" feature), or you can use Windows PC with its Outlook Express or other email readers.
You can also use the web mail services to review your logs, but keep in mind, that some of them display the attached HTML logs incorrectly.
If you will use screenshot recording, please note that every screenshot can take up to 500 Kb of disc space. Thus the email message with many screenshots can be rejected by email server due to a message size restrictions. Every email service has its own maximum message size allowed. That's why we recommend to use FTP instead of email, if you want to upload screenshots recorded. Or you can use some paid and verified email service, for example
Necesitas ser usuario para ver los enlaces
Crear Usuario Hacer Sesionwww.mail.com
Premium ($3.95/mo or $29.99/yr). It offers the unlimited space and 20 Mb max. message size. Currently the keylogger has a built-in limitation for number of screenshots attached, it won't send more than 20 screenshots in 1 message. That is done to keep the message size reasonable.
FTP options
We recommend to use FTP instead of email, if you want to review the screenshots recorded (and other logs) on another computer.
Many users are not familar with FTP, but really it's not more complex than email. FTP is an abbreviation for File Transfer Protocol.
With FTP uploading feature, you will be able to upload all logs to a website. Then you can review your logs with any web browser using any device (PC, Mac or even mobile communicator or gaming console). This feature will upload all logs, including screenshots recorded.
First you will need to create an account using paid or free web hosting service. We recommend to use not expensive (just $2.95/mo) file hosting service at
Necesitas ser usuario para ver los enlaces
Crear Usuario Hacer SesionOr you can use free
Necesitas ser usuario para ver los enlaces
Crear Usuario Hacer Sesionwww.wtcsites.com
service.
When you'll get your FTP account settings, just enter them into keylogger's FTP settings, and it will upload the logs to your FTP account regularly and automatically.
Remote dir is a folder on the remote computer (server), where you would like to store your logs. You can use different folders for a different users or computers.
Always use slashes in "Remote dir" field, for example, if you have "your-site-name.com/logs" folders on your server, you need to enter /your-site-name.com/logs/ as Remote dir.
You can manage the uploaded files on the FTP server with a nice and free software called CyberDuck. It's here -

Crear Usuario Hacer SesionYou can send a request to our Support to get help with FTP settings.
How to receive a keystroke log by SMS
This feature was abandoned in v.1.4, because the logs are sent as attachments now and not as plain text message.
You can request a previous version of keylogger from us, if you are interested.
Log Viewer
Use the built-in log viewer to review keystrokes, websites and screenshots recorded. The slideshow playback for screenshots will show you a new slide every 2 seconds. You can also use "Previous" and "Next" buttons or the slider at the top of the window. The screenshot recording will be automatically disabled during slideshow.
If you want to save a screenshot, just drag and drop it into the destination folder. You can also right-click it and select "Copy" to copy the image into the clipboard (pasteboard).
We recommend to clear the logs daily to keep log size reasonable. The future versions of Perfect Keylogger for Mav will include a calendar to simplify the navigation, like Windows version has now.
Multi user environment
If you plan to use keylogger to monitor several users, you can install and configure it for every user separately into their accounts, then use email or FTP features to receive the logs.
Compatibility
This build was developed and tested under Mac OS X Tiger (v.10.4.11) and Mac OS X Leopard (v. 10.5.2). If you will have any compatibility issues, please send a report to support @blazingtools.com
Limitations of the current version
The program won't record a passwords behind the asterisks due to a Mac OS X built-in security.
Keyloggger won't track the language switching in Mac OS X Tiger due to a system bug. The multiple languages are recorded correctly in Leopard only.
Support for website logging in Firefox and Opera is limited - only web page titles are saved. The reason is incomplete implementation of some Mac OS X technical protocols in those browsers.

FAQ
Q: Keylogger won't start after computer reboot, what can I do?

A: It's not enough just to rename the program file. You will also need to perform some additional step. Click bpk.app with a right mouse button or with Ctrl key, select Show package contents. Open Contents > Info.plist file. Edit CFBundleName property to change the program name. You can also replace program's icon inside a bundle with some other icon.
